Every Christian is called to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission. In fact, we ask all of our partners at The Austin Stone to find their place in fulfilling the Great Commission. Some people are led by God to pack up and go live among unreached people groups for the purpose of ministry. We are praying that God would lead 100 people from the Austin Stone to do this!
Action Steps:
- Fill out a Goer Enrollment Form. If you feel like God may be calling you to go and serve an unreached people group, then the first thing that we need for you to do is fill out a Goer Enrollment Form. If you have signed up to join the 100 People Network in the past, you should have received a link to this application in your welcome email; if you haven’t, please email us and we will send you the enrollment form. This Goer Enrollment Form is your first official step as a Goer from the Austin Stone. It let’s us know that you are interested in going to the nations. Until you submit this form, we have no idea that you may be interested in going!
- Participate in a Goer Group. Once you submit the Enrollment Form (see above), we will connect you with a Goer Group. Goer Groups are composed of 2-3 Goers and 1 Mentor. Going to serve unreached peoples for 2 years or more requires extensive, deliberate preparation. Goer Groups are the main hubs for preparing, connecting, and training future Goers to the nations. Participation in a Goer Group is a necessary requirement for 100 People Goers. Each Goer Group has an experienced, world Christian mentor. These mentors “hold the hand” of the potential Goers as they prepare. They help them form a personal preparation plan as well as stay connected to 100 People Network opportunities and ministries.
